Elizabeth Thomas

Elizabeth Thomas joined Costello & Mains in 2023. Elizabeth earned her JD from Rutgers Law School (Camden) in 2022, and graduated summa cum laude from Moravian University in 2020.

During law school, Elizabeth interned at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. She served as Senior Notes Editor on Rutgers’ Women’s Rights Law Reporter, with her student note "I’m Not Out to Fool Anybody, I’m Out to Be Who I Am, and They Don’t Get to Decide That: The Civil Rights Violation of Criminal Name Change Bans on Transgender Americans” published in the 43rd volume of the Reporter. Additionally, she was Vice President of OUTLaws, a Class Representative on the Student Bar Association for two years, and worked as a Teaching Assistant for two Legal Writing & Research courses.

Following law school, Elizabeth worked as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Pamela D’Arcy in Atlantic County Superior Court.
