Legal Fees & Contingent Fees
Nearly every case the firm takes, we take on what is called a “contingent” basis. This means that the firm is not paid any fees or even reimbursement for its outlaid costs unless we are successful in your claim. This means that the firm takes a significant risk, but for the right case, and for the right client, it is a risk that we are pleased and proud to be able to take. The fees in nearly all matters can be structured contingently unless it is the client’s desire, for whatever reason, to pay by the hour or on some other basis.
In a very few cases, perhaps those in which we feel the case is not strong enough for a contingent risk, or where the client requests services other than straight out litigation, hourly or flat fees can be negotiated with the firm.
