Qui Tam Retaliation

If you’ve become a “relator” in a qui tam matter, and your employer engages in retaliation taken against you, the Mount Laurel, New Jersey, employment and civil rights attorneys at Costello, Mains & Silverman, LLC, can help you. Relators who are retaliated against because of their status as a whistleblower in a qui tam matter have rights to recover damages for that retaliation.

If an employer fires, demotes, wrongfully discharges, harasses or otherwise discriminates against an employee who has given evidence of fraud against the U.S. government, that employee may be able to obtain compensatory and punitive damages, as well as attorneys’ fees.

These retaliation protections are available under both the Federal False Claims Act (the Qui Tam Act) and under the New Jersey False Claims Act, as well.

Please call Costello, Mains & Silverman, LLC today at 866-944-3371 (toll-free) or contact us online to arrange a confidential consultation.
