Description

This three-hour seminar will offer 150 general civil minutes (3 credits) applicable to mandatory CLE. This seminar will provide a basic understanding of employment rights laws in force in New Jersey for the benefit of non-employment attorney practitioners, whose practice areas potentially intersect with employment rights laws.


The Presentation

This seminar will offer instruction regarding the rights and remedies under the New Jersey Law Against Discrimination, under the New Jersey Conscientious Employee Protection Act, under the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act (as well as the New Jersey Wage and Hour Law), under the Federal and State Family Medical Leave Laws, Disability Rights Law, and other New Jersey and Federal common law and statutory employment law doctrines.
