Krista A. Schmid is an Associate with the firm. Krista graduated from Rutgers-The State University of New Jersey in 2000, and earned her J.D., with Honors, from Rutgers-Camden School of Law in 2003. While in law school, she served as President of the Women’s Law Caucus and Business Editor of the Rutgers Law Journal. Upon graduation, Krista was awarded the "National Association of Women Lawyers Award" for her dedication to the advancement of women in the legal profession and in society, as well as the M. Donald Kepner Award for excellence in the study of federal jurisdiction. Prior to joining the firm, Krista practiced complex commercial litigation at two leading international law firms in Philadelphia, where she concentrated her practice in litigating pharmaceutical mass torts and products liability matters in the State and Federal Courts. She brings that litigation experience to the firm with a long-felt desire to do civil rights and employment rights work. Throughout her legal career, Krista has maintained a commitment to community service, volunteering countless hours of her time and her expertise as a skilled litigator to a variety of pro bono legal matters and public interest efforts within the greater Philadelphia region. Krista resides in South Jersey with her husband and two incorrigible Soft-Coated Wheaten Terriers. She is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. |
